Hookers return home

Posted on: Thursday, Feb 2, 2006

After a gap of some two years Hooker Blues Club return to their spiritual home at Wrexham Rugby Club on Saturday, 11th February.

The club has been completely refurbished with new facilities throughout – loos, bar, seating area, furniture etc. The first gig features Trafficker, now acclaimed by many as the UK’s top blues-rock band, showcasing their new release – “Fade To Black”.

Support will come from the Nantwich-based Big Blues House. The hope is that the night will finish with both bands having a jam session.

Tickets are £8, with doors open at 7.45 pm, first band at 8.30 pm and headliners at 9.45 p.m. Info is available on 01948 770215 (7-9 pm only).
