Missed anniversary for 15 Feb

Posted on: Saturday, Feb 17, 2007

The harmonica legend and pioneer Little Walter died on Feb 15th 1968 in Chicago, he was only 37.

What most people overlook about Walter are his vocals, as well as being an amazing harp blower he was an immensely moving singer. When I hear him sing “Last night I lost the best friend I ever had” the shivers go up my spine.

You can read more on the life of this incredible musician here and here.
