Yeah - I know that it’s really not fair. Chicago - one of the key historic points in blues, the city with the third largest population in the US versus Colne birthplace of the bandleader of the Titanic, polulation 20,000 or so with the world famous British in India Museum.
The thing that the two locations do have in common are their blues festivals.
Here’s Colne and here’s Chicago. Both have recently announced their line-up for 2007, you won’t be surprised to hear that Chicago has the slightly better line-up.
