and I’ll Stand By You. Hyde is also know for her collaborations with UB40, on the Sony and Cher standard, I Got You Babe and a cover of Dusty
Springfield’s Breakfast In Bed.

10CC Featuring Graham Gouldman And Friends, Plus special guests

10cc were the consummate British pop group of the seventies, fantastically successful in commercial, artistic and even critical terms. 10cc notched three number one hits in the UK, the timeless classic I’m Not In Love, Rubber Bullets and Dreadlock Holiday and had eight other top ten hits, including Art For Art’s Sake, Donna and The Things We Do For Love.

BRYAN ADAMS , Plus special guests

Canadian rocker, BRYAN ADAMS, returns to the Pops on Thursday July 19th, after his 2003 and 2006 sell-out shows. Last year’s fabulous show was the last at the famous Big Top Arena: “There could not have been a better act to bring the Summer Pops to a grand finale” said the Liverpool Echo, while the Daily Post described the gig as simply “stunning”.

The only bona-fide blues I can ever remember being on at the ‘Pops’ was BB King, think Bill Wyman’s lot did it once as well. You have to laugh at the state of these press hand-outs – Chrissie Hynde was probably charismatic and sexy about 25 years ago! Saw them at a small club in Chester when “Brass In Pocket” was number one – packed to the rafters and a great show!
