Legendary GROUNDHOGS frontman is a true guitar hero, one of the original 1960’s British Blues revivalists, with an impeccable pedigree. He has played, toured and recorded with many of the blues giants including John Lee Hooker, Memphis Slim, Little Walter, Jimmy Reed and Champion Jack Dupree, Canned Heat, Jefferson Airplane and the Stones. Throughout the 70’s The Groundhogs produced massive selling rock albums including ‘Thank Christ For The Bomb’, ‘Split’ and ‘Who Will Save The World’. Tony’s live performances ensure he continues to be revered for his blues and boogie guitar style, playing both acoustic and electric blues sets along with some of the classic Groundhogs numbers. “Four and a bit decades have done nothing to diminish Tony McPhee’s power. Long may he reign…” BLUES MATTERS
