Worthenbury Blues and Roots Club Friday Sept 21st
Tim Elliott and Sandy Tweeddale
Opening the autumn season at Worthenbury Blues and Roots Club this Friday September 21st are two of Scotland’s finest blues musicians Tim Elliott on harmonica and Sandy Tweeddale on guitar. Thirty years ago Elliott founded legendary R’n’ B band Blues’n'Trouble who used to include pianist Ian Stewart who was known as the 6th Rolling Stone. When Stewart tragically died, The Stones and Blues’n'Trouble played at his wake.
In the opinion of pop blues legend Paul Jones, Elliott is the UK’s finest harmonica player and he is joined by Blues ‘n’ Trouble guitarist Tweeddale who is similarly regarded very highly by his peers.
The doors open at 8pm and the music commences at 9pm.
