**10 YEARS OF BLUES IN WREXHAM**
In November 1997 we presented our 1st live blues gig at the rugby club when local band Joey played to 50 people. Now 10 years on and after 10 festivals and dozens of gigs featuring the best artistes from the UK, USA and Europe, Worthenbury has taken over from Wrexham but the blues remains the same … still only the best.
To celebrate 10 years we have booked a weekend of great music –
Friday November 23rd at Worthenbury, the legendary Nine Below Zero perform unplugged. They played 12 nights with Eric Clapton at The Albert Hall and have supported The Who, The Kinks and Sting on world tours as well as being Rory Gallagher’s rhythm section. And then on…
Saturday November 24th back at our old venue at Wrexham rugby club, the UK’s top blues/rock band Trafficker featuring Tommy Allen will be supported by Welsh bilingual country rock blues band Karac who starred at this year’s Worthenbury festival. Doors 7.15pm Music 8.15pm
Tickets are recommended especially for Friday’s gig at £15 and Saturday’s gig will be £9. Buy both together for £22.
Tickets have already been sold outside the area for the NBZ gig which sold out weeks in advance when they last played so please book early.
We also hope to have some memorial t shirts and cds ready for the weekend.
COME ALONG AND CELEBRATE
THE START OF 10 MORE YEARS
