Band looking for help from bluesinthenorthwest.com readers

I have been contacted by local blues musician Jonathan Armstrong from Blackburn; Jonathan is looking for some help from northwest bands and venues. He says….
My name is Jonathan Armstrong, I’m a bass player and huge blues fan. I lived in Indonesia for 7 years from 1999 – 2006. During this time i was in a blues band called the blues bug. We were a 3 piece band and used to play regularly at bars and clubs in Jakarta.
Now back in the UK, i’m desperately trying to arrange a work permit for the lead guitarist of the band (Gugun) to visit the UK and tour with me and my mate Tom (the drummer) between 10th of December 2007 and 10th January 2008.
The reason i have contacted you is because I am based in the North West (Blackburn) and am desperately trying to arrange venues for our tour and was wondering if you might be able to point me in the right direction. You see, in order to apply for a work permit for Gugun to visit the UK, we need to submit evidence of venue bookings and as I am trying to arrange the tour for December, the time is running out for me to book gigs!!
Gugun is an established blues artist in Indonesia and has released 4 albums to date his latest of which is currently on i-tunes and can be accessed via the following link:
He has also taken part in a number of world class music festivals. I would encourage you to view the bands website at: www.thebluesbug.com to see footage of his live performances.
On viewing the performances, if anyone in the region would like to offer help to the band then please drop a line to bluesinthenorthwest.com at email@example.com and I will put you in touch with the band. The band appear to be right up the street of many bluesinthenorthwest.com readers.
