When I was in Texas about 10 years ago, Pittman was the new kid on the block, the latest in a long line of Texas, guitar playing bluesmen. I heard that he had a few demons and damaged his career a little for a while. I believe that he moved to Austin, sorted himself out and has been back for a considerable number of years.
I enjoyed his previous CD “Full Circle” but I have not yet heard his new one “Stay”.
