There will be an all-day blues festival in North Wales in May.

Colwyn Blues Festival at Theatre Colwyn, Abergele Road, Colwyn Bay (Nr. Llandudno) in North Wales. Sat 31st May 2008

It will feature the cream of the region’s bands and headlined by the Smokehouse Blues Band with support from the theatre techs. to guarantee the best sound and lighting possible.

The event will start at 3pm and go through until 10.30 - 11.00pm

Currently there are six bands booked to appear, all totally different to each other ranging from Hooker to Hendrix with BB King to SRV thrown in

• Smokehouse Blues

• The Slowhand Blues Band

• Comfy Chairs

• Movin’ on

• Backscratch

• The Lemon Juice Blues Band

Tickets will soon be available all priced at £10.00 ea. from the theatre box office 01492 534263

The theatre has its own bar facilities and a close by (like minded) pub/restaurant will be a serving a special menu as well as having their own in house blues band playing.
