Bill Sims Jr and Mark LaVoie on Woodsongs

BILL SIMS JR. and MARK LaVOIE have been playing their brand of front porch acoustic blues for almost 15 years. Bill became a professional musician at the age of 14 and studied the blues with legends like Muddy Waters, Howlin’ Wolf, Freddie King and others. Bill also appears in “Cadillac Records” a new movie about Leonard Chess and the artists on the Chess Label. Mark had the opportunity to travel and perform with harmonica virtuoso Sonny Terry during the ‘70s. The two will be performing material from their new CD American Roots Duo.
