Top British R’n’B/blues band Nine Below Zero will be making a welcome return appearance to the region on Saturday January 24th when they will perform their electric set at Overton on Dee Village Hall.

Formed in 1977 the band has a first class pedigree which includes supporting Eric Clapton at The Royal Albert Hall in the mid 90s and tours supporting The Who, The Kinks, Sting and Brian May and the rhythm section played with legendary Irish blues rocker Rory Gallagher for 15 years.

Please don’t misread this gig listing. Normally, these gigs organised by the Hooker guys are at Worthenbury Village Hall. This one is at OVERTON-ON-DEE VILLAGE HALL.

Let’s hope their are no power cuts this time – from what I hear Worthenbury took some finding last time! Hope they have a few bob in the meters in Overton for Saturday!
