Liverpool Philharmonic Hall

This amazing gig brings together three of the world’s finest acoustic guitar soloists.

At one point, Kansas-born McKee held the No. 1, 2 and 3 positions for Top-Rated Videos of All Time on YouTube: so astounding is his unique fingerstyle technique, seeing is believing.

Northumberland’s Johnny Dickinson is acclaimed by his peers: John Renbourn says “I’d go a long way to listen to Johnny Dickinson… For me his playing really hits the spot.” He is perhaps the most potent slide player in the UK.

An inspiration and mentor to Dickinson and McKee is Billy McLaughlin. Embracing the advantages of acoustic guitar amplification, unorthodox techniques and altered tunings while celebrating a gift for melody, his music has carried him around the world changing people’s idea of what an acoustic guitar can sound like.

“Johnny is a soulful player, singer, and a damn good writer! Don’tmiss him!” Tommy Emmanuel
