I went to this gig more out of loyalty to the venue than anything, as I’ve never been a great fan of Traffiker, so I wasn’t too sure of what to expect, I returned home a happy chap after witnessing a great gig, good guitar, strong vocals, great harp playing, backed up with good bass and drums, the crowd was larger than last month’s but still disapointing, I don’t know what we need to do to show people there’s some great local talent, playing right on their doorstep !!
Hi Jimbo, Thanks for the kind words – I’ve passed them on to the boys and they in turn would like to thank you.
Certainly Trafficker was far too rocky a concept for many but with the current band Tommy’s vocals have developed in their depth and strength and he is playing some lovely good old fashioned blues guitar e.g. his slidework on Milkcow Calf’s Blues and when Johny plays with the band he, in a lot of other critics opinion as well as mine, lifts the band even more.
They will be playing this set at the Lymm Festival in a couple of weeks as well as at Colne on the British stage.

My apologies – the original post said that the duo were playing when actually it is the full band.
