King King

Next up is the one and only Innes Sibun in Club 35 on Saturday 19th September. A massively talented guitarist he rarely tours out of his home area around Bath so we are lucky to get him. He did tour the US of A a few months back though! He is touring with his excellent band of Tim Blackmore – Hammond organ, Piano. Robbie Brian – drums and Steve Hall – bass guitar. A few years ago he hit the press bigstyle and received loads of airplay with his excellent ‘Taildragger’ album so its great to get a chance to see him in person. Tickets are £7 in advance and £9 on the door.

If anyone is in Ulverston on friday the 25th of September Tantrum will be playing a special rock set in the GSK social club supported by Carlisle’s talented Mike D on acoustic.

The 10th of October brings Geoff Achison to Club 35. This is a special treat as he is on tour from Australia via the USA and is playing with a massively talented backing band of Sam Kelly on drums, Paul Jobson on keyboards and Spy on bass. He is on the cover of Blues in Britain this summer, has been on the radio with his new album release and is a massive treat to get to Carlisle. He plays both acoustic and electric and has a very distinctive soul – blues style. Further details soon.

Later on in the year King King will be playing – need I say anymore after January’s gig! Discussions are underway to hopefully bring Jesse Davey and friends so fingers crossed. Next year sees Jon Amor and Marcus Malone already booked.

Tell everyone about Innes Sibun and lets make sure he gets a good welcome.

Yep! You are right. I did use the poster from the previous gig. Such a good poster I used it again.
