Blues Festivals in June

Posted on: Sunday, Apr 25, 2010

My tickets arrived last week for The Linton Festival, so I thought that I would take the opportunity to feature a couple of festivals that will take place out of the region but could still be of interest to readers.

Please be sure support the summer festivals in our region at Warrington, Worthenbury and Maryport.  Hopefully, these should be key points in your diary already.

However other festivals do exist outside the region.

There will be a decent attendance at Linton Festival so do look around for some familiar faces.

Linton Festival – 18 to 20 June 2010

Linton, Ross on Wye, Herefordshire

Blues on the Farm – 17 to 20 June 2010

Chichester, Sussex

First comment on BITNW…look out guys! Can I please add Wallingford Beer & Blues on Friday 4th June (The Blues Band headlining) and Sat 5th June (Connie Lush headlining with us…Rhythm Zoo supporting and Cry Baby and The Hoochie Coochie Boys opening). It’s a cracking festival under one roof at The Regal Centre, Wallingford, Oxfordshire and a great selection of beer as well (being a Vodka girl I will be honouring tradition and taking my Vodka hip flask in my back pocket).

I would so love to go to the Linton festival but sadly work commitments prevent me from doing so, as for the local ones, I can’t make Worthenbury or Warrington either, Maryport is a non starter for me this year due to a p**s poor line up again ( The Hoax excluded ),Last year was so dull and boring and lacked the atmosphere of previous years, so this year I’ve opted for Cornbury, Cropredy, Colne and Carlisle, Oh and Rythym Zoo at the Academy lol

No theme Pete, purely coincidence,I only realised it myself after I had finished typing, actually Cambridge looks inviting too, both Rock and Folk festivals, again though I have work commitments
