The Billy Walton Band will embark on their 9th UK tour at the Broadstairs Blues Bash on Saturday February 19th.  The tour will consist of 13 shows.  The band will be supporting the release of their new cd, Live at the Stone Pony.  Billy Walton has been a fixture in the UK touring with other bands such as Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes.  The Billy Walton Band will be joined by Simon Dring on the drums (the Brit on the Kit!).  Simon was named “Best Drummer” by the 2010 British Blues Awards and has received tremendous recognition for his work with Oli Brown.   William Paris will be playing bass and Richie “Taz” Tazkowitz will be along for some of the tour on saxophone.

I have differing information for the Carlisle show.

One press release says the Calva Bar at the University, the other release says at the Carlisle Liberal Club and the Rugby Club.

I have gone with the Calva as that is from the promoter.
