The Motives featuring Matt Taylor
at Liverpool Marina
Thursday 4th August 2011 (doors: 8pm, show: 8.45pm)

The Motives comprise an exceptional quartet of musicians. Matt Taylor is a highly regarded guitarist, singer and songwriter. In addition to performing with his own band, he has collaborated with the likes of Long John Baldry, with whom he toured Europe twice, and, since 2008, The Snowy White Blues Project. As a session musician, he has backed an array of stars including Tony Hadley, Jamie Callum and Joe Bonamassa.

Jonny Dyke (formerly of, amongst others, Out Of The Blue and the Elkie Brooks backing band) on keyboards, Andy Graham (of The Ian Siegal Band) on bass guitar and Roy Martin (of The Snowy White Project and, currently, The Blues Gang) on drums.

This promises to be a special evening, featuring the band’s exciting mixture of blues inspired by 40s New York, 50s Chicago and 60s London to deliver another exhilarating performance to match the very high standards demanded by the Marina audience.
