Will Wilde and his Blues Band

A master class of Blues Harp playing bar none from this 22 year old young man, Will Wilde  from the County of Wiltshire.

Will Wilde and his blues band, based in the Brighton area, were sensational and delighted the crowd with a selection of original blues numbers from his newly released album entitled “UNLEASHED”.

Will the front man and founder of the band on blues harp and lead vocal penned all 12 of the new album tracks and for one so young is itself remarkable.

On the harp, his biggest influence and inspiration are Charlie Musselwhite and Pierre Lacocque, he likes to think that he also brings his own creative style to the Chicago blues genre.

“Unleashed” is Will’s second album,  in  2007 he self released his debut album entitled “Nothing But Trouble” and promoted this with a tour.  Paul Jones on his BBC Radio 2 programme has said that Will has an exceptional talent and gave the new album the national radio play it surely deserved.

Will Wilde is without doubt a very talented harp player and his dedication to carrying the British Blues Flag in to the future is assured.  Will’s band was lead guitar – Stuart Dixon, bass guitar – Jon Chase  and completing the trio Mark Earl  – drums.
