Thursday, 19th April, 2012 – Rufus Court, off Northgate Street, Chester, CH1 2JW

“Seasick Steve meets The Stray Cats”
Three great musicians with a wealth of international experience, getting back down the basics…..filthy dirty rockin’ blues.
Paul Reaney; slide guitar, vocals and guitar.
An international award-winning songwriter in his own right, Paul has been a journeyman guitar player/sideman for years but now relishes the chance to play what he wants to play.
Jim Hughes; drums and vocals.
Jim was a founder member of the highly acclaimed Black in the 80s touring the world and making many TV appearances, including ‘Top of the Pops’. He went on to work with The Darling Buds, and was an in-demand session player in London before returning to his native North West.
Martin Taylor; double bass and bass.
Martin first took to the boards on  the North West cabaret circuit with The Rocky Road Trio, which led to joining the legendary Rhythmaires for the first of two spells with the band.
The Rhythmaires cut up venues right across Europe, from Marseille, France to Tampere, Finland and included sharing the stage with Jimmy Witherspoon and Gene Vincent’s original Blue Caps.
