BBC Radio 2 broadcast of Ian Siegal & The Mississippi Mudbloods

The recording of the show on 6th July at The Met, Bury, will be broadcast this coming Monday, 9th July, as part of a 2.5hr special edition of the Paul Jones Show featuring artists who appeared in the London & Manchester Bluesfest.

The radio show will have live excerpts of Robert Cray, Govt Mule, Eric Bibb, Kenny Wayne Shepherd and of course, Ian Siegal & The Mississippi Mudbloods.

The segment featuring the Mudbloods covers four songs: Picnic Jam, Rollin’ & Tumblin’ (sung by Luther Dickinson), Loose Cannon (a new song from the upcoming album release), and Big Mama’s Door (sung by Alvin Youngblood Hart).

The show broadcasts 19:00 to 21:30, Monday 9th July. There is usually a listen again facility on the BBC website that allows you to listen to the show online for up to a week after the broadcast.
