EP release and gig
Blues In The North West Towers have had a lovely letter from Raphael Callaghan, with news of lots of current activity:
The popular duo of Raphael Callaghan and Christine Purnell, formerly Blue C, have ‘rebranded’ as Raphael’s Callaghan’s Blue Cee, and have a brand new six track EP out, “Long Tall Sally EP Plus . . .”, containing the original four songs from The Beatles EP, plus two more associated tracks – a review will follow on here.
Now relocated from Liverpool, to near Conwy, the duo have a gig at The Crows Nest Club at The Ship, Llandudno Road, Rhos-on-Sea (near Colwyn Bay), on Wednesday, 25th July, at 9 pm, free admission. Raphael (vocals, slide guitar and harmonica) and Christine (bass) will be featuring songs from the EP, together with more new material from a forthcoming follow-up to their critically-acclaimed “Swimming Against The Tide” release.
The EP is available for £5 at gigs, or exclusively from News From Nowhere bookshop in Bold Street, Liverpool for £6; also via www.myspace.com/bluecblues or by phone on 01492 572509 or email email@example.com and make arrangements to send a £6 cheque and they’ll mail it out.
