The Tommy Allen Big Band – Worthenbury Village Hall

Saturday, 13th October: 7.30 pm for 8.30 pm start

From Pete Evans:

Tommy Allen has put together a crack 9-piece band, including a 4-piece brass section, headed by Louis Noble of well-known soul band, Zoot Serious and The Bellyful of Bop.

Also appearing will be the North West’s top harmonica player Johnny Hewitt and the precocious talents of 15 years old drummer Harvey Scott.

All proceeds will go towards Kabuki Syndrome, the rare genetic disorder that presents with learning difficulties and many other medical problems. The money raised will go towards funding into the genetic research of the syndrome. Tommy’s little boy (and my grandson) Charlie has Kabuki Syndrome and this gig will be one of a regular series of gigs we hope to put on to achieve our aims.
