A little update from Raphael:

Hello everybody,

This is sent to all on the Blues On The Rock mailing list and to those who have expressed an interest in our music. If you would like to be removed from the list, please let us know – no problem.

Raphael Callaghan’s Blue Cee are back on the Isle of Anglesey this Saturday, 13th October, at the Auckland Arms in Water Street, Menai Bridge. The Auckland is a great little pub with a good musical atmosphere. We’ve always gone down well there, so here’s hoping . . . we start at 9pm.

On Saturday, 20th October, Raphael will be playing harmonica with his ‘other’ band, Shoulder To Shoulder (or Tom Dick & Harry Band) at the Bluegrass & Folk Music fund-raising charity day at Rhuddlan Community Centre.  The evening concert starts promptly at 7pm, and there are also banjo, mandolin, dobro, ukelele and guitar workshops from 10am.

As well as Shoulder To Shoulder, the evening concert also features Conwy Mountain Bluegrass Band, Stained Glass and Ester & Ian Wooley. Tickets are £7 and the charity is Macmillan Cancer Support. More info from organiser Tom Degney on 01492 541175.

Just had word from Roger Hill that he played a track from our new CD EP on his PMS show on Radio Merseyside last Sunday/Monday (the show starts at midnight on the Sunday). It’s available on the BBC iPlayer.  The CD, Long Tall Sally EP Plus, has also had good reviews in Blues In Britain magazine and on the bluesinthenorthwest website.

Feel free to drop us an email – – or call on 01492 572509.

All best wishes, Raphael & Christine (Blue Cee)
