Blind Pig Records opens digital music store . . .

Blind Pig Records has announced the opening of a digital music store on its Facebook page.   Blind Pig, considered one of the pre-eminent indie blues and American roots labels in the world, now has nearly 180 albums and over 2,100 individual tracks directly available for digital download.

The offerings cover a wide spectrum of the finest in contemporary and traditional blues, R&B, roots rock, gospel, zydeco, Americana, and soul music from Blind Pig’s illustrious thirty five year history.

Included are gems from traditional blues icons such as Muddy Waters, Buddy Guy & Junior Wells, Pinetop Perkins, James Cotton, Otis Rush, and Magic Slim; sterling contemporary blues-rock guitar from Craig Chaquico, Albert Cummings, Tommy Castro, and Jimmy Thackery; soulful R&B from singers Nappy Brown, Otis Clay, John Németh, and Big James and the Chicago Playboys.
