Gig: Tommy Allen & Johnny Hewitt + Ian Parker

Hi everyone

Can I remind you of a gig that we have arranged for Alan Preston at Dudleston Heath Working Men’s Club near Ellesmere on Saturday December 22nd, 8 pm for 9 pm with Ian Parker and Tommy Allen and Johnny Hewitt. They will play a set each before the three of them will have a jam. Cost £5 and not £10 as previously stated and tickets are available from Alan at: [email protected]

Also advance notice that the Bangor on Dee Blues & Real Ale Festival at the Buck Hotel will be on May 10th and 11th. There will be camping with showers and WCs this year as well as the caravan site. Already confirmed are Kent DuChaine and wild wacky and wonderful Reverend Peyton and The Big Damn Band! Keep checking www.hookerblues.co.uk for further details.

Unfortunately, there will not be a festival at Worthenbury this year – like all great festivals ending in …bury on a farm owned by a farmer called Michael, we are taking a  year off. Bangor festival though will have a bigger budget and will present top quality acts so will more than compensate.
