The latest newsletter from the Potteries-based outfit, Cry Baby And The Hoochie Coochie Boys:
It might be belated but lets start by wishing you all a happy, healthy and peacful new year.
Well 2012 was a great year for the band, kicking off with awards and great reviews for our debut album ‘Sweet Thing’, in the summer we played at some of the top blues festivals in the UK having great times with friends of the band old and new and sharing stages with some of the ?nest blues musicians in the country.
We finished the year with a great series of gigs, culminating in a joyous coming together of friends and guest musicians at the Coochie Christmas Party. We were pleased that none of you got put off by the chill of winter and instead really turned the heat up in the Electric Picture House. What a night … I’m sure that it could turn into an annual event.
Thanks for the great support last year. Look forward to meeting up again in 2013, lets make it a good one.
The band are pleased to welcome Mark Hargreaves to the Hoochie Coochie
Mark is a musician with many strings to his bow, however heis playing keyboards in our band and has picked up our repertoire very quickly.
