Mark Harrison – ‘Goin’ Up The Country’ at Worthenbury Village Hall

Friday, 1st March, 2013 – Tickets £10

‘Going Up The Country’ have a gig at Worthenbury Village Hall on Friday, 1st March, with the excellent acoustic guitarist Mark Harrison making his debut in the region.

London-based Mark has just released his new cd “Crooked Smile” (see sleeve above) which has been very well received in the blues press.

His highly individual songs have been attracting a lot of attention since he launched himself on the London music scene in 2010. He takes elements of blues and folk, adding his own twist to produce something totally original.

His music, with its memorable tunes and strong and compelling rhythms, has been going down very well with audiences of all kinds and ages, all played on a 80 year old National Resonator and a 12 string guitar.
