CD release: Lucy Zirins – “Chasing Clocks”

Lucy Zirins is proud to announce her debut album “Chasing Clocks” is available 25th March, 2013 on CD and digital download.

The album was recorded almost completely live at Liam Watson’s Toe Rag Studio (famous for The White Stripes “Elephant”) in autumn/winter 2012, with Michael Messer as producer and Liam co-producing.

Lucy Zirins is an up and coming artist in the UK; she was chosen as one of the youngest earning songwriters in the UK in 2010 by PRS for Music and was winner of a Blues Matters Writer’s Poll in 2012 and runner up in her category at the British Blues Awards 2012.

Hailing from the small town of Burnley in Lancashire, she picked up the guitar aged just 12 after inheriting one from her late uncle and has been gigging since she was 16. Combining original material with a mix of blues, soul, folk and gospel numbers in her set, Lucy is fast making a name for herself on the British music scene and as a songwriter.
