This four-piece band from the South of England returned to Chorley to give a pitch-perfect performance that raised the roof with some fantastic blues music from this exceptionally talented band. Front man David Raphael, aka The Harpmeister, on blues harp, vocals and keys; with Nick Hyde on guitar/slide guitar and vocals, and the hot rhythm section of Steve Browning on bass guitar and ‘skin man’ Bernie Fox.

The band played several numbers off their CD “Where Have You Been All of My Life?”, cut in 2011, with two original numbers penned by David, “Good Thing Going” and “You’re the Only One”, and from Nick ”Where Did You Go” –  all three great contemporary blues numbers. The band play and entertain all over Britain and played at the Hebden Bridge Blues Festival, they have also had success in parts of Europe.

Over the past 25 years or so David and Nick, have, dare I say, blues blooded audiences where ever they have played and may this continue for some time to come, their enthusiasm is infectious and their musicianship is tremendous. Guest harp player Archie Moore from Intercity Blues Band joined them on stage for an impromptu number such is the mood for the blues.
