This contemporary blues rock trio from the Merseyside area returned to entertain the packed crowd here at BJ’s and they did not disappoint. With supreme guitar skills from Alan Kaishin Crawford –  the bands front man and lead vocalist. On bass guitar and backing vocals Scott Crawford, (Alan’s brother) with a smooth crisp and clear sound, just perfect; and on harmonica and drums; Graham Brighouse, this rhythm section were red hot, it’s one of the best I’ve heard, and the result, I’m sure of many dedicated hours of rehearsing to get it this good.

The band played classic covers from the giants of blues/rock – Cream, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Jimi Hendrix, The  Animals, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Howlin’ Wolf and many more, all beefed up with wonderful harmonies and gutsy hard-edged guitar playing and Graham’s never ending spellbinding work rate – just amazing. If you like this genre of music it will suit you down to the ground, a crosscut of artists and the Papa Legba voodoo spirit sprinkled all over it –  BRILLIANT.
