Rapidly becoming the best blues event in the country, if it isn’t already there, Carlisle Blues-Rock Festival continues to grow in ambition and stature!

The key to the success of the Festival has always been the consistent strength of the line up, its refusal to be restricted within a genre and offering exceptional value for money.  Whilst this doesn’t guarantee to please everyone all of the time, it does promise to please the vast majority of the audience for the most of the time.

This year is no different and the awesome line-up maintains a significant international flavour with some of the hottest names in the business due to step on stage!  Crammed with top names from an “A” list of Blues and Blues-Rock bands/artists and augmented by one or two very special up and coming gems, the line-up this year, comprises of:

For four years running, Carlisle Blues-Rock Festival has been nominated in the best festival category of the British Blues Awards, by a panel of influential authorities on Blues from all corners of the UK, including broadcasters, publications, writers, festival organisers and promoters.  Being put forward for this prestigious award, year on year, affirms the high regard that people have for a festival, that is all about “the music” and raising the profile, of what is becoming an increasingly popular dual music genre across the globe!
