The swinging bluesmen from Essex and London are one of the brightest jewels in the UK blues crown. Fronted by inspired songwriter Mike Thomas on excellent vocals, harmonica and slide guitar, the band also boasts an equally splendid array of talent in the shape of Mal Barclay on guitar, Tim Penn on keyboards and accordion, Roy Webber on drums and Paul Cuff on double bass. The highly versatile band members also share lead vocals with Mike on several numbers.

Their individual and collective brilliance is further enhanced by their unfailing ability to put on a performance, with warmth and humour exuding from their every pore. In short, they are an absolute delight.

Garston Royal British Legion is situated at Haig House, Woolton Road, Garston, Liverpool L19 5NQ, close to Liverpool South Parkway station.
