Connie Lush and Blues Shouter in concert

Tickets £8 advance; £10 on the door

Connie Lush is widely recognised as one of the finest blues singers that the UK has ever produced. That indisputable fact was acknowledged when she was voted Best UK Female Vocalist by Blues in Britain magazine for five5 separate years, earning a richly deserved place in the Gallery of Greats. Connie has also won European Singer of the Year for three consecutive years.

Not only a talent singer whose “voice is like a 3 am whiskey with enough electricity to power the national grid” (The Times), Connie is a highly accomplished songwriter, confirmed by many excellent self-penned songs that form her live and recorded repertoire.

Described as the “woman who makes my heart sing” by the legendary BB King, Connie Lush is unmissable and certainly unforgettable.

Connie Lush is one of the most stunning & talented Blues vocalists worldwide & makes a welcome return to Alexander’s with her superb band .

One night of  blues you simply can not miss.

Just in from John Welsh:
Connie Lush will be performing with Terry and her new band members, Steve Wright on guitar & Roy Martin on drums for this pre-Xmas concert. Steve is well known in Liverpool with his appearances in his own Blues Gang and also as part of John O’Leary’s Sugarkane. Roy Martin is currently playing with Matt Taylor & The Motives and has been part of Snowy White’s band. Their inclusion in the line-up enhances the band’s overall quality. We saw them performing at The Box in the Royal Hotel in Crewe some weeks ago and they blew us away.
Tickets are £12 each and they are available from the Cavern Pub across the road from the Cavern Club in Mathew Street or
Doors are 8pm with the band on stage at about 9pm.
Hope to see you there,
