The North West band Goodfellas returned to Chorley to entertain the BJ’S Rock in the Blues Club regulars at the annual Christmas shindig. Goodfellas are the last live band of 2013 to perform at this very popular venue here in Chorley.

Yes, the glitz and glamour were definitely on show here; stunning ladies in their gladrags and the guys, as they say, scrubbed up well from a cheeky monkey outfit to formal dress to smart casual, anything goes here on this annual bash, with the tables decked out with sweets and balloons and the traditional Christmas trimmings placed all over the lounge all was set for a party to end the 2013 live music year.

Frontman, lead vocalist and guitarist Gary Jon set the pace, and performed a plethora of classic covers from the likes of Elvis, The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, The Beatles, and a medley of good old rock and roll. The rhythm section was, on the bass guitar Lol Halpin and on the drums Tony Fitzgerald. Yes there was plenty of music, dancing and laughter and a good time spent at BJ’s Christmas gathering.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
