Not straight blues, but expect some bluesy content with the likes of Albie Donnelly and Dave Goldberg featuring:

PARRJAZZ HAS MOVED HOUSE!Yep! As of the first Tuesday in March we will be up town at our new home at 32 Hope Street.

It’s a really ‘cool’ Bar/Restaurant called: ‘ FREDERIKS ‘ easy to find, next door to The Philharmonic Pub.

And a great programme to kick us off in our new space!Opening night is the 4th March and the privilege of being the first guest through the door goes to the Mighty Munch Manship wielding his Steaming Tenor Sax. He is followed in on the 11th by another Titan of the Tenor –  Albie Donnelly, temporarily stepping out of his R ‘n’ B supersized band ‘ Supercharge’ to be with us. After the ‘Monster Mash’ of the previous two weeks,  cooling things down with his incredible guitar sounds we are pleased to welcome back on the 18th – Cinematic Orchestra stalwart Stu McCallum.  Also coming off the road, just in time to join us on the last Tuesday of the month is funky keyboard maestro and smoky vocalist Dave ‘Goldie’ Goldberg – fresh from his ‘Rumours’ tour.

And that’s not all-
On Sunday 2nd March ParrJazz has been asked to organise the music for the ‘after show party’ of the Liverpool Jazz Festival which is being held at the Liner Hotel and will feature saxophone star Dave O’Higgins with the ‘ParrJazz House Bandits’!
The other major forthcoming attraction which we definitely should mention is the ParrJazz and Soul Inspired Events promotion of the Grammy Award winning band- Snarky Puppy! Appearing at the Kazimier on May 12th. A little way off yet but tickets are already on sale and going quickly- so don’t miss out!
Just before that gig, we have our own party time, because on Tuesday April 8th ParrJazz will be 5! We have lots in store so come along and celebrate with us.
That’s about it for March- except maybe to mention that this is the month that has ‘International Happiness Day’! (on the 20th)
April’s looking equally jam packed with goodies – but all the nitty gritty will be in the next edition of the ParrJazz Bugle!
STUDENTS FREE ENTRY on presentation of NUS card!
