If blues fans haven’t seen Sean Webster in Britain for a while, that may be because he’s been living in Australia for the last year. Many will rejoice that he’s come back to this side of the world, bringing with him a rich store of new material that he’s been working on while he’s been away.

He’s also put together an amazing line-up: on drums Phil Wilson (The Hoax, The Davey Brothers); on second guitar Ash Wilson (The Melt); and on bass Greg Smith (Infamous Vampires).

The Sean Webster Band were one of the highlights of this year’s Bowness Bay Blues Festival when they played the packed-out Wheelhouse on Saturday night.

Don’t miss them on: Friday 23rd May at Hawkshead Brewery, Staveley, 7.30pm.

Saturday 24th at Seaton Royal British Legion, 8pm, with acoustic support from Jamie Francis (www.starkband.com). Tickets £6 on the door.
