Gig: Moreland & Arbuckle – Goin’ Up The Country at Overton-on-Dee Village Hall: Friday, 27th June
Posted on: Monday, Jun 16, 2014
Hi Everyone
We are really thrilled to be able to present to you top American band Moreland & Arbuckle who will be making their Welsh debut on the final night of their short UK tour at the large Overton-on-Dee Village Hall on Friday, 27th June, supported by The Blues Duo – Tommy Allen and Johnny Hewitt.
From Wichita, Kansas, the band (a trio despite their name) have established themselves at the top of the American blues scene with their rocking vibrant style which has similarities to legends ZZ Top. With the date being their last of their tour, it is guaranteed to be a storming night and already tickets have been sold to fans from all over the UK.
Tickets at £15 can be bought at the Corner Shop in Overton or by ringing 01948 770215 or 01978 312755. This is one of the most exciting gigs we have promoted so we do hope you will be able to support us, and remember… there is no World Cup soccer that night!
All the best
