Stealer are a four piece rock/blues cover band that pride themselves on performing authentic renditions of the vintage bands from the 60’s and 70’s. They do it with a no-nonsense matter of fact approach.

Steve Clegg lead vocal and frontman for the band is a veteran vocalist who thrives on the pub rock scene and the intimacy of the audience, he engages them with a little light banter has he introduces cover after classic cover. Steve G on lead guitar is a class musician his rendition of “Parisienne Walkways”,  amongst others, was spot on.

Steve B is their bass player and backing vocalist, he has a relaxed manner and his bassline on “Keep on Running” was brilliant. Alongside him completing the rhythm section was Anthony Da Souza – a hell of a drummer, and he kept it together for the band. “White Room”, “Substitute” and “Fool For Your Loving” stood out for me.

The classic covers kept coming, in their second set: “The Seeker”, “Rosalie”, and “Wishing Well”, and a lot more, just fantastic. This band gives you a show – the audience wanted more, and the band went home happy playing to a crowd that appreciates its classics.
