News just in from Pete Evans:

Sadly Rory Ellis had to cancel his UK tour at short notice on Tuesday night as he will be in hospital back in Australia for an operation on his wrist to resolve a carpal tunnel problem which has obviously affected his guitar playing. We wish him a swift recovery.

Luckily though I’ve been able to book Matt Woosey instead, bringing forward a gig that we had hoped to confirm at the end of the year. Some of you might have heard him on Radio 2’s Paul Jones show on Monday night (February 2nd).

Matt is a young man with a rapidly growing reputation in the acoustic blues/roots world gaining plaudits from all over the UK .The top musical press rate him highly as can be seen from the comments below.

Whilst some of you might be disappointed that Rory sadly won’t be appearing, rest assured that in Matt we have an equally brilliant replacement and the night will be just as exciting.

The ticket price will be the same at £12 with doors 8pm for a 9pm show. contact petevans@btinternet.com
