Happy birthday bluesinthenorthwest.com

Posted on: Thursday, Sep 24, 2015

Today the 24th September bluesinthenorthwest.com celebrates 10 years. Originally we started over on Blogspot before going fully hosted.

Early posts were about local gigs by Smokehouse Blues, Memo Gonzalez, Matt Schofield and Hamilton Loomis.

Over the years the site has changed a lot – we have lost a lot of the local focus: the scene is just not what it was.  Also now feature a lot of reviews of CDs from all over the world.

I’ve taken a backseat in recent years, working the back end and anything technical, Grahame Rhodes is now running the show. Gram has been a great contributor and friend over the years – bluesinthenorthwest.com is in good hands.

Many thanks to all the contributors (especially Gram) and readers.

Many happy returns.
