One of the finest blues outfits in the UK will be making a rare trip up north this Friday. It’s the first time north of Birmingham with the new regular line-up featuring Mal Barclay on guitar (wait til you hear THIS guy!!!) plus the 23 year old boogie-woogie sensation that is Henri Herbert on piano, (the fire brigade in Monaghan, Ireland is still damping down the flames on the pianos he played at the Harvest Time Blues Fest two weeks ago).
The Cadillac Kings - The Ironworks, Oswestry - Friday 26th September.

This Thursday sees another outing for the individual talents of Tommy Allen and Johny Hewitt playing together as a phenomenal blues duo.
I saw them for the first time at the Worthenbury Festival this year and I thought that they were great.
They will be at 35 in Oswestry next Thursday.

Apart from Benny Gallagher in Worthenbury on Friday, there are a couple more gigs of interest in the south of the area.
