The legendary Bob Hall Show. The most respected piano man in the history of British blues and very probably the best. Touring once again with special guests from Canada, vocalist Diana Lee Braithwaite and multi-instrumentalist Chris Whiteley, both much feted stars across the atlantic. “If there’s a better blues piano player outside the US than Bob Hall from the UK, it must be the world’s best kept secret.”; – Roots & Rhythm Internationally acclaimed recording artist , Diana Braithwaite’s music has been on television, radio and now on motion pictures. Touring internationally, she has shared the bill with greats like Eddie Clearwater, T-Model Ford, Albert Collins, Robert Cray, Tracey Chapman, John Lee Hooker, Jeff Healey, Big Bill Morganfield, Mel Brown, Pinetop Perkins, Buddy Guy. Multiple Maple Blues Award Nominations January 2007 Chris has been honoured with four Maple Blues Award nominations in 2006. Horn Player Of The Year, Songwriter Of The Year, and Album of The Year for Chris and Diana Braithwaite’s wonderful Electrofi records release Morning Sun. Chris has also been honoured with a nomination for the Blues With A Feeling Lifetime Achievement Award. The last time we hosted this show we had to hold it in the Willows Suite. It proved to be perfect as it was a beautifully warm and intimate performance which everyone adored. I will therefore hold it there again unless we oversell the capacity.
