Gig: Steve Phillips – Appleton Thorn Village Hall – 20 Nov 2010

Posted on: Tuesday, Nov 9, 2010

SATURDAY 20th NOVEMBER 8:30pm – STEVE PHILLIPS

Returning after to the Village Hall after an absence of a couple of years, and rightly regarded by many as a national treasure, Steve has been plying his trade to great effect for many years as a solo artist, with Brendan Croker and the Notting Hillbillies amongst others.

He plays six string, twelve and resonator guitars which complement his vocals perfectly.
Put simply, Steve just oozes class and is a superlative and charismatic performer – expect a top night at this multi-CAMRA award winning venue!

Entry is again by ticket only ( £10 from village hall bar or 07946 378599). Judging by tickets sold so far, it’s going to be another busy night, so if you intend seeing Steve, I suggest that tickets are sought sooner rather than later.
