Gig: The Blues Duo – The Navy Club, Maryport: Sunday, 7th September

SUNDAY, 7TH SEPTEMBER, 4PM

After hosting some of the hottest bands on this year’s Maryport Blues Festival Trail (including The Little Devils and Rosco Levee and the Southern Slide), the Navy Club on South Quay is becoming known as the home of the blues in Maryport.

Now Tommy Allen and Johnny Hewitt, two of Britain’s best blues musicians, together known as The Blues Duo, have been booked for a special Sunday afternoon session at this great venue. Tommy and Johnny have been blazing a trail at blues festivals all over the country, including Bowness Bay Blues, Linton, Swanage and Upton, and Maryport music lovers will definitely be in for a treat.
